Latest News:  Our Studica built robots qualified for the State Championship at the Cactus Wren tournament.    We Won the Design Award twice!  We had a blast....   Be careful about bringing multiple functional robots to competitions, they might just create a new team for you!  Thats what happened to us...  We had over 25 students participate in in FIRST club, classroom, & lab activities that culminated in a strange little-to-no contact collaboration..  between several groups of students.   What an adventuree, our teams built the robot at odd hours, in between sports practices, during lunch, & after school for about an hour each week.  Our teachers & students even waited for two basketball games to finish so they wouldn't leave their teamates behind resulting in creueling overnight drives with little sleep only to setup & compete the next day.
